Plea Deal Rejected In Trafficking Case

Prosecutors have rejected a plea deal from a Mays Landing man indicted on five trafficking counts. The Press of Atlantic City says such a charge would usually carry a sentence of 20 years to life and prosecutors shot down a plea for 36 year old El Joshua to serve three years in prison. He is accused of holding at least two women captive and forcing them into prostitution. He pleaded not guilty to a nine count indictment against him.
