The Casino Reinvestment Development Authority has granted Altantic city $1.16 million to update the aquarium’s interior prior to the 2020 COVID-19 shutdown. The funding was part of the overall $3.6 million Gardner’s Basin received from the New Jersey Green Acres program and state Department of Community Affairs for park improvements.
