Cape May County Health Officials Urging Pet Vaccinations

In the wake of three rabies cases so far this year, Cape May County health officials are urging pet owners to have their pets vaccinated. They also warn you should avoid wildlife and domestic animals that you are not familiar with. Never feed or touch wild or stray animals, and keep your pet on a leash. Do not allow your pet to roam; it can come in contact with rabid wildlife. The next upcoming Free Rabies Clinic for Cape May County is in Middle Township September 21, 2pm-3pm at Middle’s Public Works Garage located at 400 W Mechanic Street in Court House.
