New Jersey Lt. Gov. Sheila Oliver has been hospitalized and is “unable to discharge the duties of acting governor at this time” and Gov. Phil Murphy is on vacation overseas with his family, the governor’s office said Monday morning.The order of succession means New Jersey’s top state lawmaker, state Senate President Nick Scutari, D-Union, is the state’s acting governor.
