Cape May is looking at the possibility of building a new water treatment plant if the city can find the money. The Press of Atlantic Cityr eports an engineering firm representative gave an update to city council recently, in which he presented a hopeful assessment of the prospect of gaining millions of dollars’ worth of federal grants to fund a new desalination plant.
Mayor Zack Mullock said last week it could be about two years before water starts flowing from a new plant.
