On Friday, July 28, an eastbound detour will be in effect on Ocean Heights Avenue in Somers Point between Bethel Road and New Road (Rt. 9), 7 am – 5 pm, weather permitting, for drainage and concrete improvements. Westbound traffic will be permitted through the work zone. Eastbound motorists are advised to follow the posted detour. Delays are expected and motorists are advised to plan travel time accordingly or seek an alternate route.
