The real estate website Zillow ranks two South Jersey towns, Avalon and Stone Harbor, among the 150 most expensive towns to live in the entire United States. In the ranking, Avalon came in 72nd, Stone Harbor was 86th. Both towns had typical home values of more than $2 million. While tourists balloon the population of each town, Avalon has a projected year-round population of about 1,300, while Stone Harbor’s sits under 1,000.
