With the Atlantic City Air Show upcoming, authorities are reminding drone operators along with kite flyers and parasailers about restrictions within a 10-mile radius of the Air Show space on the practice days. Those are happening Monday, August 14, 2023 and Tuesday, August 15, 2023 and the day of the Air Show, Wednesday, August 16, 2023.
Any drones or other devices used in violation of this restriction will be confiscated and their operators arrested.
The restriction has been the practice for the past 20 years and continues with the compliance of all municipalities from Longport to Brigantine.
The exact restricted area runs from 23rd Street in Longport to South Roosevelt Boulevard in Brigantine.
Practice and Air Show times are as follows:
Monday, August 14, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Tuesday, August 15, 2023 from 10:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Wednesday, August 16, 2023 from 10:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
