Cape May Boater Dies

According to the Press of Atlantic City a 45-year-old boater died early Wednesday morning after being thrown from a vessel in the city’s harbor near the U.S. Coast Guard station, according to city Manager Mike Voll. Coast Guard spokesperson Jonathan Lally said the vessel was carrying two people when it struck a submerged object, throwing both occupants overboard, Lally said. One of the boaters, who was not identified, was rescued by first responders.
