A semitruck struck a car Tuesday sending its driver to the hospital. The Press of Atlantic City reports Michael Corrado, of Hammonton, was at the intersection of Woodrow and Washington avenues around noon Tuesday when, while attempting a left turn, his 2022 Ford Explorer was hit by a 2006 Peterbilt truck, spinning the SUV, which hit a metal drainage gate and caught fire. Corrado was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Campus, for moderate injuries.
