The Atlantic City Police Department arrested two men and seized a large quantity of drugs and a gun.
On September 1, 2023, detectives executed two residential search warrants following a two-month investigation into the possession and distribution of narcotics. The targets of the investigation, 33 year old Breion Turner, and 51 year old James Turner Jr. were each arrested at their residence for active warrants. Breion was located at his residence in the 600 block of North Annapolis Avenue. James was in the 4200 block of West End Avenue.
The court ordered search warrants were executed at both properties following the arrests. During the searches, detective recovered the following items.
-One loaded handgun
-Additional ammunition
-653 individual bags of heroin
-46 grams of ecstasy
-314 grams of cocaine
-59 grams of marijuana
-24 grams of methamphetamine
-$2,751 in cash.
