19 year old Jai Caesar of Atlantic City pleaded guilty to second-degree unlawful possession of a firearm in exchange for a sentence recommendation of five years in state prison.
On August 11, 2022, Atlantic City police responded to a report of a gunshot hitting the window of
a residence on North Indiana Avenue in Atlantic City. When law enforcement arrived, they
observed a bullet hole had entered through a window of the residence. Law enforcement
reviewed surveillance video from a neighboring residence and were able to identify the subject
as Jai Ceasar. Ceasar was subsequently located by law enforcement and taken into custody
without incident. Sentencing is set for next month.
