Sea Isle City Beachgoers get ready to shell out more money to sit among the seashells as officials consider a potential $5 increase in the price of daily, weekly and seasonal tags. If City Council approves an ordinance after a public hearing planned for Oct. 24, it would be the first increase in beach tag costs in 12 years, according to Mayor Len Desiderio.If it is approved next month, the city would charge a daily beach fee of $10 starting in the summer of 2024, a weekly fee of $15, a seasonal fee for tag purchases through May 15 of $25, and $30 for seasonal tags purchased after May 15.
