A fire destroyed two campers and damaged surrounding woods Sunday afternoon. The Press of Atlantic City reports
The campers were parked in a farm field adjacent to a forest in the 200 block of Weymouth Road in the township’s Richland section. Firefighters received a report of the blaze at 5:37 p.m. The New Jersey Forest Fire Service arrived to find both trailers engulfed, firefighters said. Firefighters said they cleared the scene by 7:15 p.m. No injuries were reported. No word on what started the fire.
