The Pleasantville Fire chief and the fireifghters are smiling again thanking public tips for helping them find their firehouse’s beloved bell after it was stolen from an alley behind the building last week.The bell has been with the Fire Department since the early 1900s. Last week, while on a pallet awaiting to be placed in a new memorial planned for the firehouse’s front lawn, it was stolen. Police obtained a search warrant and found the bell at a home in the city, according to the fire chief.
