The Wildwood Crest board of commissioners introduced a $4.5 million bond ordinance Wednesday, Oct. 18, with most of that amount, $3.5 million, to be dedicated to the rehabilitation and reconstruction of back bay bulkheads and outfall lines. According to the Cape May County Herald, 10 streets will have tide valves replaced, the street raised, and the bulkhead refreshed for a better appearance. She said another 10 bulkheads on the north side are getting tide valves and streets raised “where necessary.”
