The Atlantic City Police Department arrested a man observed weighing drugs on the street while armed with a handgun. Officers were patrolling the first block of south Florida Avenue when they observed 49 year old Christian Parcaro weighing a small object on a scale. The officers approached Parcaro and saw that cocaine was on the scale. He also had a single bag of heroin in his hand. Parcaro was taken into custody without incident. He was found in possession of a loaded handgun and additional drugs.
A continuing investigation led the officers to Parcaro’s residence in the beach block of St. James Place where officers recovered more narcotics. In total, officers recovered 41 grams of cocaine, 18 grams of heroin, and 27 grams of methamphetamine.
