Atlantic City Police are looking into a murder that left a Philadelphia man dead. On November 10, 2023, at approximately 12:50 pm, the Atlantic City Police Department was dispatched to the 1900 block of Grant Avenue in reference to a shooting. 26 year old Khalid Scott Jr of Philadelphia was located in the driver’s seat of a two-door sedan with a gunshot wound to the head. Scott was transported to AtlantiCare Medical Center where he pronounced deceased on November 11, 2023 at 2:15pm
This incident is currently being investigated by the Atlantic County Major Crimes Unit and the Atlantic City
Police Department Violent Crimes Unit.
