A lawsuit filed recently claims a cow at the Cape May County Zoo pushed over a teenage girl two years ago, causing her to seek treatment for a head injury. The Press of Atlantic City reports Anna Marie Gerace’s family is seeking compensatory damages for the incident involving Jilly, a long Holstein cow, on Nov. 6, 2021. The zoo is run by the county government.
New Jersey and Middle Township are also named in the litigation.
