On Friday, 41 year old Jerome Holley, 41, of Absecon was charged with the murder of 45 year old Mamadou Toure from Pleasantville that occurred on October 9, 2023, in Pleasantville.
On October 9, 2023, at approximately 8:41 a.m., the Pleasantville Police Department
responded to a 9-1-1 call in reference to a shooting in the area of 7 West Pleasant
Avenue. Police responded and located Toure unresponsive in the driveway with at least
one gunshot wound. Toure was pronounced deceased at the scene.
