31 year old Dominique Devonish of Atlantic City was sentenced to 10 years in prison for two armed robberies of a convenience store in Atlantic City in January of 2023.
On October 25, 2023, Devonish pleaded guilty to two separate counts of first-degree robbery and
a petty disorderly persons offense of harassment in an unrelated matter. Devonish admitted to
entering the convenience store on January 5, 2023, and brandishing a knife while threatening the
store clerks. Devonish then entered into the cash register and stole approximately $400.00 before
fleeing the area. On January 15, 2023, Devonish again entered the same convenience store,
wielded a knife, while threatening the store clerks, reached into the register and stole
approximately $600.00 before fleeing the area.
