A judge on Tuesday ordered the Atlantic City Housing Authority to provide a 25% rent rebate to tenants in a lawsuit over lack of heat and hot water, gas leaks and other health violations at the 420-unit Stanley Holmes Village. According to the Press of Atlantic City, the rebate will be on rent paid since the start of the lawsuit in November 2022 and will continue going forward until the end of the case when individualized larger abatements are possible.
