Get ready to shell out a little more for a ride. NJ Transit has proposed a 15% increase in fares beginning this summer. First, the transportation company will give New Jersey residents a chance to voice their concerns at 10 public hearings between March 4 and 8, including a stop in Atlantic City. The resort’s public hearing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. March 4 at the Atlantic City Convention Center’s Meeting Room 309. NJ Transit’s fare adjustments are scheduled to take effect July 1.
