A body found during a search of New York Avenue on Sunday was that of Tracy Faulkner II, a Pleasantville man who had been missing since December. The Press of Atlantic City reports police announced the positive identification of Faulkner in a statement and say the incident remains under investigation, pending the autopsy findings and toxicology results.
The Facebook group Find Tracy Faulkner, run by Quentin Faulkner, Tracy’s brother, searched Sunday morning in the woods near Harbor and New York avenues, near where Tracy’s car was found last month. The search, which consisted of about 40 people traveling by foot through the damp wooded area, lasted several hours.
Faulkner, a 33-year-old engineer, had been missing since Dec. 5.
