The Delaware River and Bay Authority has agreed to lease land to Aviation Sports Complex LLC to build an 80,000-square-foot domed, indoor sports complex at the Cape May Airport. The Press of Atlantic City reports developers plan to provide a community space for people to gather and play sports year-round, in addition to potentially attracting national and international tournaments. Aviation Sports will pay the DRBA $20,000 a year for the next two decades. The project is expected to break ground in the spring, the DRBA said.
