Atlantic City police arrested a man and recovered a handgun after he threatened a woman.
Patrol officers responded to a residence in the 300 block of north Connecticut Avenue for a report of man armed with a handgun. It was further reported that 32 year old Eric Teasley was going in and out of the residence and was extremely agitated as he was in possession of the gun.
An officer arrived on scene and encountered Teasley. Teasley was initially detained as officers investigated the circumstances surrounding the allegations. They learned that while Teasley was in possession of the firearm, he pointed it at a woman who he also threatened with violence while in the presence of two children. Police found the handgun that was loaded with hollow-point ammunition in the kitchen leading to the arrest of Teasley.
