AC Police Seek Man Wanted For Attempted Murder

The Atlantic City Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a man wanted for attempted murder of a convenience store employee.
On February 3, 2024, at 8:18 AM, patrol officers responded to a convenience store in the 100 block of north Rhode Island Avenue for a report of a stabbing. Officers located an employee of the store who had been stabbed by a customer in an unprovoked attack. The victim, 39, was transported to the AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Division, with serious, life threatening injuries.
An investigation led to the identity of the suspect, 34 year old Francisco Bonilla of Atlantic City. He’s charged with attempted murder, aggravated assault, unlawful possession of a weapon, and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.
