ACHA Fined $24K Over Boiler Conditions At Complexes

The state has fined the Atlantic City Housing Authority $24,000 over boiler conditions at three public housing complexes, including Stanley Holmes Village, where many residents have not had consistent heat and hot water all winter. According to the Press of Atlantic City, the problems at Altman Terrace and Shore Park and at Stanley Holmes included an inadequate number of licensed professionals on site, leaks, scale buildup, and the need to repair or replace failing parts of the systems, according to the order.
