The American Rescue Plan proves its worth again. Atlantic city will receive a $20 million share of the state’s $100 million Boardwalk Preservation Fund.Atlantic City is one of 18 towns to receive money from the fund. The state plans to make a formal announcement of the grant awards today. The fund was administered by the state Department of Community Affairs.So many of us have created memories with family and friends at the boardwalks of the Jersey shore,” Gov. Phil Murphy said in a statement Thursday evening. “Our boardwalks have long been a prized destination.”
