The Longport Police Department has donated $18,000 to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. the funds were raised from a First Responder Hockey event.Police Chief Frank Culmone, Sgt. Ray Burgan and Officer Alec Morelli went to CHOP on Wednesday to donate the funds, the department said in a news release. The funds will go toward CHOP’s Children’s Fund, which supports the needs of patients and their families.
