The Galloway Township Police Department announced that more than 25 animals found living in poor conditions were removed from a township property and that a Wildwood Crest man was arrested and charged with cruelty to animals. The Cape May County Herald reports detectives responded to the 100 block of Zurich Avenue to conduct a follow-up investigation regarding an animal complaint. 23 year old Jason Millar identified himself as the owner/caretaker of the animals. While inspecting their living conditions, investigators located a deceased dog on the property. Further investigation led to the discovery of approximately 25 additional dogs and one cat living in poor conditions, with insufficient access to food and water.
