Man Wanted For Murder Nabbed In AC

A man wanted in connection with an Atlantic City homicide was cuffed Tuesday after trying to elude police by jumping from a third floor window of an apartment. 35 year old Jamar Jones of Atlantic City sustained serious but non-life-
threatening injuries from his fall at 61 N. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. Jones was wanted in connection to the homicide of Luis Rosa-Rodriguez. On November 7, 2023, Rosa-Rodriguez was shot and killed on the unit block south of
Florida Avenue. He’s charged with Murder, Possession of a Firearm for an Unlawful Purpose, Possession of a Handgun without a Permit to Carry, and Possession of a Firearm by a Certain Person. Jones had been a fugitive until he was captured.
