Early Saturday morning, Atlantic City Police responded to a residence in the 1100 block of Indiana Avenue for a report of a burglary in progress. Arriving officers observed the lock on a rear door had been damaged and pry marks. The officers established a perimeter around the residence and attempted to place a telephone call to the owner. After unsuccessful attempts at reaching the owner, the officers directed the occupants of the residence to exit. Two men and a woman surrendered to the officers and were taken into custody. Officers located a hammer inside that was believed to be used to enter the door.
Each of the arrested individuals initially provided a false name to officers. Upon obtaining the actual identity of each, two of the arrested, 35 year old Ryshakeda English of Atlantic City and 36 year old Sirjackie Bryant III of Camden had active warrants for their arrest. The other man was identified as 44 year old Daniel Mack Jr. of Atlantic City.
