Atlantic County commissioners unanimously passed a $262.1 million 2024 budget Tuesday, with a county tax rate that drops by about five cents per $100 valuation. The rate will fall from 43.8 cents to about 39 cents per $100 of assessed property value, reports the Press of Atlantic City. Commissioners also passed a $29 million bond ordinance that would allow the county to spend $16 million on facilities improvements and about $14 million on bridge, road, intersection and drainage improvements.
