Absecon resident and former county commissioner, Frank Formica, was unanimously approved on March 5 by the Atlantic County Board of Commissioners to fill an unexpired term on the board of the Atlantic County Utilities Authority.
“It’s been several years since I left public service,” said Formica, a lifetime county resident and local businessman, “and I am truly humbled by the overwhelming support and glowing remarks I received from each of the county commissioners.”
The ACUA provides services for the county, including recycling, solid waste and wastewater management, in addition to providing public awareness campaigns.
