Atlantic City taxpayers will see a reduction in both their school and municipal tax rates, Mayor Marty Small Sr. said Wednesday. The Press of Atlantic City reports the municipal tax rate will decrease by 10.2 cents per $100 of assessed property value, while the school tax rate will likely decrease by 7 cents per $100. The reduction on city taxes will save property owners $100 on each $100,000 of property value. Small also announced each non uniformed city worker will get a $4,500 raise as of July 1 when the city’s 2024 fiscal year starts.
