Sea Isle City is among the 18 shore communities that will share $100 million in state boardwalk preservation funding. The Cape May County Herald reports Mayor Leonard Desiderio said the city will receive just under $2 million, which will go toward structural repairs, additional decorative lighting, and additional handicapped access. The money comes from the state’s Boardwalk Preservation Fund established by the American Rescue Plan, one of the federal government’s pandemic relief acts.
