More than 1,500 runners enjoyed a chilly, sunny morning on Absecon Island at the AmeriHealth April Fools Half Marathon on Sunday.Ward Ries, 24, of Kingwood, West Virginia, was the overall winner in 1 hour, 12 minutes, 3 seconds. Lindsay Susi, of Lincoln University, Pennsylvania, was the women’s winner in 1:22.48. She finished eighth overall.
