The Atlantic City Police Department is investigating a crash that involved a single vehicle and resulted in a fatality.
On May 26 at 2:53 PM, patrol officers responded to mile marker 56 on Route 30 on the westbound side of the roadway for a motor vehicle crash. Witnesses reported that while making a lane change, the vehicle left the roadway for an unknown reason. The vehicle struck a light pole and road signs. The driver of the vehicle, a 19-year old female of Atlantic City, was pronounced deceased on scene.
