Phase 2 of the Atlantic Avenue ‘road diet’ is on hold after a judge on Tuesday granted the Casino Reinvestment Development Authority a preliminary injunction. According to the Press of Atlantic City, Atlantic County Superior Court Assignment Judge Michael Blee also gave the CRDA 45 days to review the city’s plans but did not specify if it had to hold a hearing or make a final decision on whether it would support the road diet in that time frame. The road diet would reduce the number of vehicle travel lanes from four to two in most areas.
