Earlier this week, Atlantic County election offices were informed of a conflict with the digital file received by their mailing house for the printing and distribution of sample ballots for the June 4 Primary Election. Election officials representing the Atlantic County Board of Elections, County Clerk and Superintendent of Elections worked quickly and collaboratively to correct the conflict, reduce, but not eliminate, a delay in the statutory sample ballot mailing deadline which is on or before 12 noon the Wednesday preceding the start of the early voting period for the primary election. This year that deadline was Wednesday, May 22. In an abundance of transparency, the Office of the Superintendent of Elections has issued a notification advising Atlantic County voters of the delay.
