A teenage girl suffered traumatic injuries after she was struck by a tow truck while riding her bicycle on Ocean Heights Avenue late Wednesday afternoon. According to the Press of Atlantic City, a 2021 Ford tow truck driven by 44 year old Francis Kelly of Atlantic City, was traveling north on Ocean Heights, just south of Blackman Road, when he struck a 15-year-old girl who was riding her bike north at 4:49 p.m. The girl was treated by township EMS and AtlantiCare ALS on the scene and transported to a nearby landing zone, from which she was flown to Cooper University Hospital in Camden due to her significant injuries, police said. No status on her condition was made available.
