New Jersey American Water will begin a $500,000 water infrastructure project at the border of Galloway Township and Egg Harbor City. The Press of Atlantic City reports the company will replace about 1,600 feet of aging water main starting this month, a project expected to last about two months. It will upgrade the 16-inch concrete water lines that were installed in the 1960s with new 12-inch ductile iron main along Aloe Street from South Chicago Avenue to South Philadelphia Avenue.
