Construction is set to begin on a new multisports complex in Atlantic City next week. The Press of Atlantic City reports a groundbreaking ceremony will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Pop Lloyd Stadium at 1200 N. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.
The project will see the all-grass and dirt field transformed into a youth sports complex that will include blue artificial turf for multiple sports, including baseball and soccer, as well as new dugouts, locker rooms, restrooms, lighting, fencing and scoreboard.
