35 year old Marcelino Cruz of Mullica Township was sentenced to 16 years in New Jersey State Prison for the sexual assault of a minor. On February 7, 2024, an Atlantic County petit jury, after trial, found Cruz guilty of sexual assault, endangering the welfare of a child by sexual conduct, and possession of child sexual abuse material.
