A judge has postponed a hearing set for Friday to determine whether Bart Blatstein’s Island Waterpark will go into receivership to pay outstanding debts, at the request of plaintiff Parker Interior Plantscape. According to the Press of Atlantic City, the hearing is now set for Aug. 16. It is the second time the hearing date has been postponed. Parker Interior, of Plainfield, Union County, filed suit against Blatstein and several of his companies in March, saying it was owed $1.81 million for work it did on the waterpark, which opened in July 2023.
