A Stafford Township woman pleaded guilty last week to stealing nearly $180,000 from her former employer, the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office said. Dona Carlo-Tanzola, 51, faces five years in prison and nearly $140,000 in restitution when she is sentenced Aug. 30, Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer said Monday in a news release. And according to the Press of Atlantic City, Long Beach Township police found that between May and November 2022, Carlo-Tanzola took checks made payable to her employer, the engineering firm of Horn, Tyson & Yoder, and deposited them into her personal bank accounts.
