In Atlantic City a hearing to determine whether a receiver will be appointed for Bart Blatstein’s Island Waterpark has been postponed to Aug. 2, after a Blatstein attorney told the judge a settlement may be reached soon. According to the Press of Atlantic City the hearing had been set for Friday.In March, Parker Interior Plantscape of Plainfield, Union County, filed suit against Blatstein and several of his companies, alleging it is owed $1.81 million for irrigation and interior landscaping for the waterpark.
