Mays Landing Woman Draws Six Year Term In Husband’s Shooting Death

A Mays Landing woman was sentenced to six years after admitting she shot husband in their home on Christmas Day in 2022. According to the Press of Atlantic City, 53 year old Marylue Wigglesworth pleaded guilty in June before Atlantic County Superior Court Judge Donna M. Taylor to manslaughter in the death of David Wigglesworth. She must serve 85% of her sentence before she will be eligible for parole.
Hamilton Township police responded to a home in the 5200 block of Mays Landing-Somers Point Road at 10:19 p.m. Dec. 25, 2022, and found David Wigglesworth suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
