Longport Police are investigating a number of vehicle thefts over the past few days. The Press of Atlantic City reports on Friday, police responded to a report of a black BMW X7 stolen from the 100 block of North 36th Avenue. They also discovered that a silver Honda Accord that was reported stolen from Mays Landing in front of a neighboring home. Police said surveillance footage showed the silver Honda was dropped off at 11:47 p.m. and the BMW was stolen shortly thereafter. The BMW was then found abandoned behind a home in the 1500 block of Baltic Avenue in Atlantic City with front passenger side damage. No word on suspects in the case.
